Joseph L. Dentici - Joseph L. Dentici passed on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the age of 75. He was born in Akron, Ohio to loving parents Joseph and June Dentici. Joe was a 1964 North High graduate. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War as a photographer. He worked for Leaseway Motor Freight for 30 years. He was a resident of Houghton Lake, Michigan until he retired recently to Oldsmar Florida. Joe enjoyed his pontoon boat and fishing with his buddies Paul, Ray and Steve. He also loved cooking and making his famous spaghetti sauce for family and friends. He was a volunteer for Oldsmar Cares Food Pantry where he met and made many friends. He leaves behind his wife, Judy, the love of his life; his sister, Debbie Brown who adored him; and his children: Kim (Steve) Fons, Kathy (Jonathan) Garner, Karen (Brant) Matros, and Kelly (Justin) Thevenot. His Grandchildren: Kamie, Justin, Kailey, Kody (Randi), John Franklin (Shelby), Kelsey (Carson), Brandon (Emma), Devin, Tanner, Drake and Hunter, and great-grandchildren, Keiley and Jorryn, and many cousins, to cherish his memory. He also leaves behind the best friends any man could ask for, including his lifelong friend Ray Fletcher. His little girl dogs Iggy and Bella were his faithful companions who gave him many hours of love and enjoyment. Joe was my soulmate, my support, and my rock who always kept me grounded. I loved him with all of my heart and he will be dearly missed. Special thanks to Season's Hospice and Advent Health Care of North Pinellas for the wonderful and compassionate care they gave to Joe. Many thanks to our supportive and caring Family and Friends. We appreciate your love and prayers. We will be celebrating Joe's life with a Military Service at Northlawn Cemetery in the Mausoleum at 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2021, 4724 State Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44264.
